Remote access to files on WAN server
We have a Novell 5.1 WAN, and some users require Internet based access to their files.
Citrix, VPN and MS Terminal Services both either need a client installed on the remote computer or issue liscense tokens to the remote computer posing a security risk as they take time to be re-assimilated.
The idea is to preferably allow access from anywhere, any computer and then move back to traditional laptop handouts etc. as a unpopular last resort.
Georgeis getting tired of reading sales crap that leaves out the usual real world installs that show up the terms “seamless” and “effortless”.
Any opinions?
