Remote Assistance – Email issues

by colivares . Updated 16 years, 9 months ago

I am trying to use remote assistance as a source of resolution for our troubleshooting. I can connect just fine and use remote assistance if I am using Windows Messenger.
However, I am finding that if I use the feature of email and an invitation is sent, once I click on the link I get a message saying the page cannot be found, try any of the following: Make sure that the URL or web address is typed correctly, If you access this page from a bookmark, make sure the bookmark is using the correct url, request the page again. The link that is given is a link to microsoft. Do they still have this feature anymore? I am assuming so if I can utilize it using Windows messenger. I would prefer using it by email. I am running XP Service Pack 3. We are using Outlook as our email client.
