My remote desktop connection failed without warning several days ago and has not come back since. It was working fine for months and then stopped. We connect from one of our locations to another through the remote desktop, so it is vital to our workflow. I checked to make sure the ip on the host hadn’t changed, and I’ve done every other check to make sure it is set up as it should be. As far as I can tell, nothing has changed except the same setup now is not functional. Now I get the error message: “The client could not connect to the remote computer. Remote connections might not be enabled or the computer might be too busy to accept new connections. It is also possible that network problems are preventing your connection. Please try connecting again later. If the problem continues to occur, contact your administrator.”
Any ideas? Help would be much appreciated.
