Remote ERD creation

I just thought I would pose this question to see if anyone has a resolution…
Is there a method or software solution to create ERDs of network workstations from a server or administrative workstation location? I have looked into VNC, PC Anywhere, SMS, and none of them seem to be able to create an ERD of the logged in machine on the local floppy. Perhaps someone knows of a .bat or script solution that will allow for creating the ERDs and backing them up onto a server? I’d appreciate any responses to make the task of updating 100s of machines easier than touching each one individually especially in a WAN situation.
