Replying to discussions from Firefox under Linux

I use Ubuntu 12.04 and my main browser is mozilla firefox (currently, 20.0).

For some time now I notice that if I press “reply” in a TechRepublic thread, it starts the circular animation and stays there forever.

My only solution, so far, has been launching chromium and answering from it, but it is less than a good method.

I guess there’s some kind of incompatibility in the js code for replying.

Does anyone else have this problem? Would someone within TechRepublic site administration/programming be kind enough to take a look into it?
