Rescue Disk

Hi.
I have redhat 7.0. I know you can get to rescue by inserting the CD, and picking the rescue, but how can you copy it to a floppy disk, or can you? I was led to believe that you can or it is a normal practice. So I need some clarifiction on how to access the rescue.
