Retrieve a string of characters in the middle of line

I need help retrieving an account number out of a string of characters in excel. An example of the data in the cell is “Microsoft Shares a/c 234324g2 from NetTrade” The only information that I need is “234324g2”. The length of the account is always different. Anyone have any ideas on how to do this?
