Roadmap for MCSE course

Hi there,

I would like to go on MCSE course (self study) but which sequence will i follow and what examiniations should i take first, second and so on. I do not want to waste some money on buying books and hardware if i will be able to follow theright track.
Your bit by bit explanation will be a big help.
