Roaming Profiles in Win2K

I have been attempting to setup roaming profiles on a Win2k domain for Win2k desktop users. I have created the shared folder on the server, with permissions, etc. However when I attempt to log on to the desktop as that user, I get an error messagethat the system cannot create the profile on \\servername\share\username.pds and will use a local profile, yada, yada. The detail is that the system cannot find the path specified. Nor can I copy a local profile to the server share because a localprofile is not created–a temp profile is created. Copying and renaming this also doesn’t work. Any fixes out there for this really annoying issue? Thanks.
