Hi ppl.
I need some help with my problem.
I have about 120 workstations (w2k) on my network.
I want to divide a network in 5 subnets en have a DHCP on each subnet.
I have Red Hat 8 servers and for subnetting my network I don’t want to put5-6 nic’s in my server. Insted, I want to have routers that have there own DHCP servers. This way I can have DHCP on each subnet.
Now! I know that CISCO-Routers have this funcionality. But! I work for a nonprofit educational organisation, so we have to use the cheepest solutions. Cisco is not!
My question:
Is there any other cheeper solution?
Please Let me know.
Greetings,
