This may be an easy question, but I was thrown into the position of network admin by default, not by design, so humor me. I am wondering what the easiest and most secure way is (if one exists) to run User Manager from my PC. Our server is in another building and I hate having to run over to reset a password or unlock an account for somebody who entered their password 5 times with the caps lock on. Our server is just a workgroup server running NT Server 4.0 and my user profile is in the administrator group. My PC is running Win98. How can I run User Manager from my PC with this type of setup? Do I need to install NT workstation? Are there file extensions I need to install somewhere? I’m kind of shooting blind since I haven’t been able to find any information on this yet, although I haven’t devoted the amount of time to the search that it probably requires. Any advice is greatly appreciated.
