SAMBA 2.2 PDC???

I am running Mandrake 8 and am trying to install SAMBA 2.2 following the directions everything seems to install, but it doesnt work! SWAT isnt there among other things and I cannot get samba to run correctly. When I revert back to 2.0.7 works fine but cant use it as PDC. Can someone A.) help me get SAMBA 2.2 installe and running correctly & B.) Help me get it setup as a PDC?
