Samba and Windows 98 SE/ME

Hi,

I tried running Samba on one of my linux machines, I can see the samba server on both Win XP and Win 98s but when im using Win 98 i cannot access the shared folder i made in linux. But when i use Win XP, i can access the shared partition. Is there a way that so that Win 98 machines can access the Samba server. The pc only appears in the network neighborhood but i can’t access the contents when im using Win 98.
