Samba / Cross Sunets

Hi There,

Have Samba working in our networks. Only one side of our subnet can see the server though. I have been reading that there are 2 different way to setup the samba server to be used across subnets.

1. Setup a Samba server on both subnets,
and then promote one to be the master.

I don’t want that one!

2. Setup a new Eth card with the address schema of the other side.

Does the second option sound right, will it work? Any other ideas out there?
Will Lmhosts do it for me?
