Samba – N/W name cannot be found

I have axhausted the search on the net to find a resolution on this.
I have setup two users in a Linux RedHat8.0 server. One user has a NT login id which allows me to connect/map to the share that I created in the Linux box.
The other hasn’t got a NT login id and I can’t connect/map to this share. I have tried by creating smbpasswd as suggested but get the same error “network name cannot be found”. I can see both shares on the network neighbourhood.
