Samsung Galaxy S21 5G won’t scan QR codes in camera app

I’ve looked online for information about this but none of the suggestions are working.

In the camera app settings, I have made sure that “Scan QR Codes” is turned on.

Some online suggestions say to click on the “Bixby Vision” on the camera, but I don’t have that option.

There is a bixby vision app that I can get to, but it will only look for similar images. It doesn’t scan the QR code.

This is a company phone so I can’t download a separate QR scanner.
