Hi, recently I’ve been assigned to perform a review of SAP BI’s report. Much to my surprise, all of the employee in this group perform a manual comparison every day between SAP BI Report and SAP R/3 data. (Yes very manually using excel).
After several investigation (From user’s view), they said that SAP BI report isn’t 100% reliable (it sometimes produce incorrect result) and there is always finding on every report (variance in cell’s value).
The root cause of this error lies on error when transporting data from SAP R/3 to SAP BI’s Cube. Because of amount of simultaneous jobs, it sometimes discarding some scheduled jobs or worse performing in incorrect sequent step.
Current workaround is to assign 10 employees to perform manual check or BI report every day however I think this is not the solution. Any idea to solve this?
