School over 40

It seems my days are counting down and before I know it, I’m going to be sitting in a classroom for the first time in years. Now grant you, when I worked in a local carpet factory, I was very union involved and as such took a lot of educational classes revolving around my union work ie. shop stewart, financial secretary, human rights, women’s right etc. Most of these courses were in classroom type settings but only lasted 1-5 days.
Next week I will be a full time student at our local Community College enroled in Office Administration, holding down a part time job (my bosses have been gracious enough to adjust my working hours around my school hours), and being Mommy. Thankfully, I have an extremely supportive spouse. Without his support, I would not likely be able to go through with this opportunity (it was him that gave me the shove in this direction too ;), he’s very big on education).
So, I’m wondering if there are any other folks out there that have done the same thing I am about to dive into. How did you folks juggle the whole school, work, parent thing without going completely bonkers?
