Searching for Service Management System specifically for Network Industry

by ltr_mo . Updated 22 years, 6 months ago

I have been looking at a number of software packages for the service industry. Many of which are intended to satisfy HVAC, appliance, and general service dispatch needs.

Are there any network integrators/consultants/resellers who have successfully implemented a full scale solution that proviced service management of technicians including scheduling, time tracking, knowledge management, sales, invoicing, serialized inventory control, accounting links to external accounting packages, and expense tracking?

Many vendors offer some, and some say they offer all, but when put the to the test, they come up short. Some do not follow strict accounting rules and leave room for un-audited changes. Others simply are too ‘clunky’.

I thought I would ask my peers what they are using and what their experiences have been.

Thank you for your replies.
