Secondary Contacts Folder Outlook 2000

We are using Outlook 2000 in conjunction with Microsoft Exchange 5.5 for our email system. The CEO created a secondary contacts folder in Outlook 2000 but has now decided he wants it merged with the primary folder and wants to delete the secondary totally…it’s confusing him greatly. How can I merge these two and delete the secondary easily? Help!
