security differences twixt Win2K/NT 4.0

We have a software application that runs fine under NT 4.0 with normal user privileges. After upgrading the the OS to Win2K the software will only work if the user is logged in with Admin privileges.

What addditional security does Win2K add thatNT 4.0 doesn’t use during a standard install?
