Until 6/24/09, Send to worked from Windows Explorer and all Office 2003 apps. Mozilla’s Thunderbird was/is my email MAPI client.
Last week they all stopped working. The Word error msg is the most specific: Logon failed. You just log on to Microsoft Exchange to access your address book. Error code: “Unspecified error”.
A number of software events happened: I installed Visual Web Developer Express 2008, with ensuing updates, and also IE8.
I have checked my Sendto folder and it has all the correct options, also the registry has all required entries. I uninstalled IE8, but still nothing works. My internet options are set to Thunderbird as the email client.
Please help!! This is slowing me down considerably…
