sent items in outlook shows large fig

To reclaim the free space I have defragmented the exchange server yesterday and I reclaimed 2 GB.
Sveral # of the users are having a large # of sent items which is abolutly nit true(One hand only one sent item and it shows that he has 465 items with size of 180 MB
