Separation of business and state…

by bigdaddy757 . Updated 8 years ago

So, say a user has an active, vibrant PERSONAL profile on Facebook. Now that user wants to use Facebook Pages and Groups to establish a SM presence for a new business. Now, should that user create a whole new Facebook account and profile just for business (apart from the personal profile), and then create a Page from that business account? Or, is it ok to just create the business Page using the personal profile? The big con I see about option 1 is having to re establish or duplicate all of those relationships that are already linked to the personal profile. The big pro I see with separating the accounts is more control over content and less background noise.
