server problem

Hi

We moved to new offices and disconnected some of the computers, when we got to the new place and installed everything, our server could not connect to the workgroup. the other computers on can find each other, however it cannot pickup the server (windows 2000). The server also cannot pick up any computers, the connection got deleted, I dunno how, but its not there anymore, how do i restore the connection so that the other computers can browse the server?
