Services.exe taking up cpu power

Hi!

I have a computer which is running NT 4.0. At startup it says that a service or driver has failed to load, and then it gets stuck. Task Manager first said that sqlservr.exe was using 99 % of cpu. I disabled the sql service and now services.exe is using up everything. It also says that a device connected to the computer is not working correctly (or something similar).

You can’t really do anything with it now since every task takes anything from 20 seconds to several minutes.

What’s causing this? Any advice would be greatly appreciated.
