Setting up a D-Link 300 Print Server to

Can anyone explain the steps that I must take in order to get my print server hooked into my NT network. When I hook the print server to a port I get link so I know that that part is working. When I install the administration software for the print server and then run it, it can’t find the print server. I must be missing a step in the process somewhere. I guess it’s not as easy as just plugging it in and going. If anyone can explain what I’m missing I’d appreciate the help.
