Setting Up FTP Server On Red Hat 6.2

I have installed the anonymous and wu-ftp rpm. When I ftp the server ip address on the linux machine, there is an error message ‘connection refuse’. Can I know what is the problem ?

I have a few questions on ftp server set up :

1 what rpm is needed besides the above 2 rpm ?

2 How do I start the ftp service manually ?

3 How do I enable starting up the ftp service at boot time ?

4 How do I check if ftp service is running ?

5 Is there a GUI tool to start and stop different services ?
