Setting up shares on W2K domain controll

I used the same procedure to set up shares on a W2K server set up as a domain controller ( active directory) as I had on NT 4.0 PDCs, BDCs, and member servers. This procedure does not seem to work. What am I doing wrong with this W2K domain controller ?
First I share out a directory. Share permissions are Everyone-Full Control.
For testing the NTFS permissions are Everyone – Full . The sharing hand symbol appears but I can’t see it from Windows 98 stations (That is all I have). Do I have to do something with the Directory Services to make it visible? If so, what is that. Or any other ideas one getting this share to be available ?
