SharePoint 2007 – Calendar View using imported .xls with Outlook 2003 data

This isn’t highly technical, as it’s SharePoint development but I still need help. If you can help, please do!

I have found the joys of the fact that Sharepoint can only talk one way, being TO Outlook, not talking to SharePoint FROM Outlook. I want to take a calendar from Outlook and put it on a Sharepoint site.

So I’ve exported a calendar with appointments into an .xls spreadsheet from Outlook 2003. I’ve imported it into my SharePoint site as a list, changed my StartDate column to Date and EndDate column to Date format. I’ve changed the View to Calendar View and set my Time Intervals at Begin: StartDate and End: EndDate. I’ve even concantenated the StartDate and StartTime columns into one on the .xls spreadsheet, formatted the cells as time.

Everything shows up in the proper days but every single entry starts at 1:00 AM no matter the time of the entry. Does anyone know how I can get the dates assigned to the correct time slots on the Calendar View in SharePoint?
