I work in an architectural company of approx 160 people, we need to deploy a document management system, I am researching SharePoint at present, I have contacted three Microsoft partners to tender for this project, I have given them a brief outline of what we are looking for, (I can supply this information if anyone interested) I am interested in finding out how I go about a tender process for judging the applicantss, and what questions should I be asking them, and finally giving them scores? I know vaguely what SharePoint does but how can I tell if it is right for our business? (we have looked at many software packages geared towards the construction industry but we are not in a position at present to take on these systems at present)
