SHIVA Acess Switch configuration

Guys can you help me out. Here is the deal. I have a client who I have fixed a Shiva Access switch. He required this because of more need so he booked PRI. I configured E1 port 1 with all parameters seeming OK. (ie. the frame type, timeslot settings… I am using Java based SHIVA 6.01 for configuration) RX and TX signals seem to be behaving funny. Once I use a straight RJ 45 interface, E1 gives me ACK sygnal on. Once I cross the sygnals in the RJ interface, I don’t get RX or TX sygnal. Contacting the telecommunication guys, they can see my client’s device but say that no frames are being recieved. What might be the prob.?
