I am currently working as a network technician with about 5 years of experience. I have an A+ Certification and am taking my Network+ at the end of this month. I am putting myself on track to be a network administrator within the next two years. However, I received a BA in Psychology and started out in social services then switched to IT. I started a MA in IT Mgmt, but am wondering if a bachelors in IT/IS would be more beneficial. I have researched plenty of network admin job postings with most asking for experience, certs, and a BA/BS in IT/IS/CS. Is getting a bachelors rather than a masters at this point in my career more beneficial?
