Slow web this morning?

This morning both Yahoo and Google could not be accessed by any of the 4 different browers we use at home. And this continued until the early afternoon. Since it is Saturday, no harm no foul. But it was curious. There are two of us, one on a MAC and one on a Dell, and we both experienced the same problem. Resetting the router didn’t help. And– we could get to the Internet using either the AOL or MSN browsers with no problem at all.

Is there any back-channel noise on whether Yahoo and Google were experiencing problems? Security? Traffic?
