Small Business Server 2000 as BDC

I have started to install SBS 2000 on a PC to set it up as a Backup Domain Controller.After the installation was complete I was asked to demote the server by running dcpromo.exe.It takes me through the process and seems to be accepting what I enter.Towards the end of the BDC setup it says “This product does not support this application”.
Does that mean that SBS 2000 does not provide the option of setting up a BDC?
If any Tech member has any clues on overcoming this problem I will much appreciate it.
