I?m an small IT/MIS department head reporting to Director of Finance. I have following:

? Windows SBS Premium 2003 Server
? Exchange/IIS Server
? Oracle on Unixware
? Finanacial Application (RM Cobol)
? LAN/WAN on dialup
? Seven Sever (Machines)
I have only one person in my staff as technician but not so efficient. There is no tradition of IT training to keep up-to-date the IT department, I spend money from my pocket time to time to just update my self. My problem is that I want to write to my boss that I need a full time programmer and an efficient technician. I feel difficult to organize myself. How do I write him, since today this is very important to keep up-to-date an IT department with the pace of latest technology. Actually I can?t carry out the responsibilities of network administration, programmer, development analyst and etc. simultaneously.
