Smartphone suggestions

I have an older Motorola G Power phone which I would like to upgrade to a different phone. I mainly use the phone for browsing the internet and mostly for emergency purposes when driving. I would like to stay under $350 if possible. Which phone would you recommend for me to inquire about? I was looking at the OnePlus Nord phones but would like to stay away from phones made in China. Thanks
