Solaris 8 installation

I have downloaded Solaris 8 as I want to start learning it but failed at the first hurdle!!! When trying to install I get the following message:

Unable to mount a Solaris error file system from the device:
CD: Target 0: Samsung CD – Rom SCI48F PS06
On Bus Mastering IDF controller on board
PCI bus 0, at Dev 7, Func 1
Error message from Mount:
/pci@0,0/pci-ide@7,1/ide@1/sd@0,0:a
cannot open – no media in drive

It is obviously a problem booting from the CD drive but I’m not sure what the problem could be. Any ideas?
