Solaris 8 reporting problem for CPU

I have a Sun U-60 server with four processors, recently the server kept rebooting as soon as it was logged in. The messages log says there is a pproblem with one of the processors. So i removed the processor it was complaing about and the system works fine. The error message is ‘[kern.warning]WARNING: Driver alias “cpu” conflicts with an existing driver name or alias.’
Any ideas as to how to fix the problem and get the processor working again.
