I’m sure we have all found ourselves in this situation and I was wondering if you all could help me come to a decision. I have two computer which I need to part ways with. SWMBO says we need to make room 🙁
Honestly I really don’t use them anymore any way I’m always on my laptop. I was thinking of selling them but I wonder, could I get more if I put them up on ebay as parts or as a whole system. They are kind of OLD so I’m really not sure how useful they would be as complete systems unless someone loaded Linux on them. The specs are as follows.
Dell P420
733mhz 512 meg RAM 2×9 gig SCSI HD
Dell Dimension 2300
1.8Ghz 390 meg RAM 80 gig HD
Like I said, not the latest and greatest stuff. What have you done? What do you think?
Note: I know what some of you who don’t know me may be thinking but I assure you these are mine they are not stolen (who would steal equipment that old any way). Any advise will be greatly appreciated.
