Something wrong with keyboard when starting up laptop

Hi, I am 15 and have very little computer experiance =D

I have to reset my laptop like 20 times (not exadurating) hoping the keyboard will work. When the keyboard doesn’t work it get to the welcome screen (win xp). it says error slass.exe or something like that… this has happened for 4 days now… no new hardware added

When the keyboard does work (I spam caps lock seeing if the light goes on for caps/num/scroll lock)
It boots up fine…
