Sound card not working

I have recently installed Red hat 8.0 Linux on my PC.
The system is dual booting with win98 and Red hat
I have Yamaha Xwave sound card. This card is not working in Red hat linux. As I am not familier with Linux, I don’t know what to do. The card taken by Linux is someting like “cmd3000” etc.
And it gives error “Aneable to open sound mixer” when i try to play audio cd.
Where I can get Driver for the sound card which works with Red hat 8.0
