Sources for Company & Data center relocation

My company is currently in the process of relocation to a newly constructed building, i have not been part of the original design process (new hire), so am looking for resources, advice, horror stories, checklists directly related to network / data center relocation.

Anyone have experience/ advice for mirroring lotus notes email at a second location
