It is my understanding that the spanned volume feature of Windows 2000, allows you to combine seperate pieces of storage space into one logical drive. On my system, the Properties sheet for Sys(C:) shows used space to be approximately 75 % of total space. Therefore I went to the end of the drive, and created a spanned drive. Now when I right click on the same space, and then click on Change Driver letter and Paths, it says Sys(C:)\Sys. However, when I clcik on Sys (C:), then click on Properties, it dispalys the same total space as before connecting the rive segments. Shouldn’t it show the total space available on the logical drive partition?
