Spooler subsystem app error during network setup

Am attempting to configure a network, yet keep receiveing the ‘Spooler Subsystem app error’ and “Network unable to configure”. OS is Windows XP. The Microsoft solution was unable to help. Either answer here or to my email medfly85@aol.com. Thanks
