staroffice install on Mandrake 8.0

Ok, I downloaded the so-5_2-ga-bin-linux-en.bin file (all 91 megs) to my harddrive. It is presently in a folder (staroffice) under my home folder (/home/ahroo/staroffice/so-5_2-ga-bin-linux-en.bin) I am trying to install the damn thing. Have tried numerouos things,: chmod 777 to the file as Superuser, then typed so-5_2-ga-bin-linux-en.bin and pressed enter, no luck. How do I get this file to install? Please help,
