step by step anyone?

I think someone should post a step by step VPN setup for Server 2003. This would include the server side setup and client side setup for winXP Pro. I haven’t been able to find the actual step by step including settings that work. I have not been able to get my VPN (RRAS) to work with PPTP for a week and have found nothing but vague descriptions. This would also exclude router settings, just the step by step on the client, and the step by step on the server. Is this so much to ask?
