Still worth learning Java?

Hello all,

A couple of days before MS decided to drop Java from their future plan, I was ready to study Java but now….I’m not so sure.

Let’s look at this objectively,

1. Regardless of what we/I think about MS, they do have a good shareof the market and whatever they do… it will affect the outcome of technology (i.e betamax vs. VHS)… whether we like it or not.

2. Should I still learn Java?

Any feedback would be great.
