Sun Solstice Network Client on Win2000

by rplagens . Updated 24 years, 8 months ago

I am using the Sun Solstice Network Client 3.1 and 3.2 currently on all my NT CAD Design workstations. They run Solstice to communicate with my UNIX (SGI) server for data management and software licensing. The issue is that we, as a company are going to migrate all our Windows OS’s to Win 2000 Pro.
After numerous attempts to install Solstice I get the same error everytime on several 2000 systems. The error is “You must be using Microsoft TCP/IP networking to install this software. Would you like help setting that up now? If you choose no, you cannot continue installing your Solstice software”.
TCP/IP IS up and running on every system this install was attempted.
Sun say’s there is no incompatibility issue but won’t give me the solution.
Can anyone help??????????
