Suppressing printer error alerts – Win2K

Years ago I found a way to suppress the printer error alerts on NT that keep popping up on a server when you share them by IP from the server. I forget the method used to do that.

I have a large Win2K installation with hundreds of printers and I’d like to suppress these alerts or better yet have them just time out after a few minutes. Anyone know how to do that? I recall it was a registry change but can’t find it.
